Love Hz is proud to have Mr. Solve and Ruckspin back behind the decks for maximum dance floor damage! >> DOOMBOX << [Warrior Drum Recordings / Crunk Funk Music] :: Columbia, MO :: Russell Gaskins (aka Doombox) is a bass music producer from Midwest, USA. Russell acquired his first drumset at the age of 16 and started playing in Hardcore and Metal bands until 2003. In the summer of 2004 he started mixing on turntables and producing drum & bass tunes. 2005 saw Russell signed to Foulplay Records under the name Sighnature, featuring releases with artists such as Mumblz, Zardonic, and Ca2K. Shortly after, Russell adopted the name Doombox, and started releasing dubstep tracks on Crunk Funk Music. Doombox has been a steady fixture in the Midwest bass music circuit, playing alongside the likes of Spor, Caspa, Evol Intent, Gein, Doormouse, 12 Planet, SPL, and many more. Love Hz is proud to have the Midwest man of mischief back rocking the house. >> THE MOHAWK << [Global Music Broadcasting] :: Saint Louis, MO :: THE MOHAWK is a Saint Louis based producer/dj. If you haven't guessed it from his name, the man likes mohawks. He's been rockin' one for over twelve years and it currently stands at almost two feet tall. His love for electronic music, poking people in the eye, and his prelude into the local music scene with Nasty Rumor began in early 2005. Since his discovery of dubstep and the trigger finger, Mohawk became predominately an Ableton DJ, but Mohawk's vinyl addiction made him switch to wax. His prior gigs include opening sets for Trolley Snatcha, Borgore, 6Blocc, Skism, Dub Gabriel, Bombaman, Lazer Sword, Phaded, Claw and Richie August of Hulk, Trillbass, Reso, High Rankin, Mark Instinct, Cyberoptics, J.Rabbit, Hellfire Machina and more. Fresh off a new track collaboration with Doombox, this night will see The Mohawk battle the birthday boy himself in a bareknuckle bass brawl. >> CRYPTONIX << [Warrior Drum Recordings / Love Hz] :: Saint Louis, MO :: Cryptonix (Brian Bradley), hailing from Williamsburg, Virginia, blends the freshest neurofunk with the classic sounds of the techstep rollers that helped to define the genre. In 1999 Brian adopted a style inspired by DC heavyweights like Rob F & Impulse, Slant, and Tittsworth, as well as UK junglists Bad Company and Ed Rush & Optical. By 2000, Brian was spinning two separate weekly parties in the Virginia Beach area, Vinyl and Meltdown (under the name DJ Gonzo). In 2011, after a long hiatus, Brian moved to Saint Louis, Missouri, and started spinning under the name Cryptonix. He could be seen on many occasions spinning the Dedication weekly and the Love Hz monthly. Late 2013 saw the launch of Warrior Drum Recordings, a collaboration between Brian and Jaizen Mokwa.
